Please join APT WGLC in conducting a limited condition assessment of the exterior envelope of the Old Nichols Library on Saturday June 24th from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. The building is currently in the process of Landmarks review by the Village of Naperville, yet it is also currently being threatened with demolition by a local developer. Please consider giving back to the community and use your preservation talents to help this building in need. Light refreshments will be provided.
You can register to participate in the field assessment, register to help the team prepare the deliverable (from home) or both!

Chicago’s suburbs have a wealth of early settlement buildings which used found materials for their construction. APT WGLC has partnered with the Elgin History Museum and the Preservation Partners of the Fox Valley to feature some early regional construction techniques at this interactive event.
Remember to wear comfortable clothing as there will be some walking.
We hope to see you there, rain or shine!
Registration is limited to 20 attendees and will open in June.
More details and registration information coming soon!
